My Practice:
Since 2004, I have been providing Primary Care and complementary natural health care by combining acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, massage, and nutrition into a comprehensive natural health package.

I am dedicated to providing safe, effective, natural wellness care with compassion and individualized treatment. I take the time to listen to patients' concerns, spending 60 to 90 minutes with each new patient and 20 to 30 minutes on each follow-up visit, to accurately diagnose each patient in the Traditional Chinese Medicine system, and formulate the best custom treatment plan for each person. Treatments may stand alone or be combined with other medical therapies, depending on the patient's condition and preference.

I have an on-site comprehensive Chinese herbal pharmacy from which I dispense herbs in tablet and liquid form, as well as topical powders, patches and ointments. I also carry a complete line of liquid children's herbal formulas.

Some of my special areas of interest include headaches, allergies, gastro-intestinal problems, joint & muscle pain, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, and women's health, including infertility, endometriosis and menopause.

My Education:
After graduating from Ohio University in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Geography with a minor in Biology, I developed a strong interest in natural therapies. Starting with a certification in Acupressure massage from the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA, I then attended Massage Therapy School in Albuquerque, NM and practiced for 2 years, before also plunging into the exciting world of Oriental Medicine. I graduated from East West College of Natural Medicine with high marks in 2004 with a Master's of Oriental Medicine.

I am licensed in both Florida and Rhode Island as an Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Acupuncture, and I am Nationally Certified in Oriental Medicine which includes Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology.
